MVSD Strategic Plan - 2017 - 2018

The previous MVSD Long Range Plan expired at the end of the 2017 school year. In preparation for that, during the 2016-2017 school year the Board's Long Range Planning Committee surveyed stakeholders in the MVSD's Learning Community (Students, Parents, Residents, Employees...) to determine their perceptions and values in regards to our District and educational priorities. Over 550 responses helped the committee establish the focus areas for the 2017-2018 Strategic Plan. Instead of a 5-year Long Range Planning document, the committee has crafted an annual Strategic Plan with focused priorities and measurements. Two broad areas, Communications and Curriculum, overarch these specific objectives. Our goal is to continually partner with our communities in our educational efforts. This planning document is a resource in that endeavor. Thank you for your support of the MVSD!
